Brad Worthley and his views on labels like ADD and ADHD
ADD is a gift, not a disorder
This is exactly what I mean and was partly a reason for starting the website ADDcharacteristics.net. It is good if you recognise that ADD and ADHD is a trait with which you can achieve a lot. The fact that things may never have gone well on school has nothing to do with our intelligence. We are just not made for that.
According to ADD-diagnosed Brad Wortley, AD(H)D is not a disorder but rather a gift.
Watch the video below in which Brad Worthley tells how his life changed from the moment he stopped thinking his ADD is a disorder and instead started using it as a strength.
Brad Worthley wrote a book about it.
A breath of fresh air. I have ordered the book and am in hopeful anticipation of its delivery.
I have been suffering from the adverse features of A.D.D. for years. I am now receiving psychological help and have benefited greatly from the book UPDATED LIFE WITH A.D.H.D.
I very much want to learn to embrace the positives of A.D.D and start using them in the right way. Not to become a successful businesswoman. I am already very happy if I would be successful in housekeeping and administration. Get rid of the: " It's always just me!" thought!
